Facebook Modifies to be More Similar WeChat of Clone from China Market

Facebook develop to modify its social media network with private messaging sites, groups and payments that resemble same as WeChat innovations is the modern example of China tech being clone in the West. It's a market arise that has evolved over the past decade as China tech have moved up from the old standard of copying from Silicon Valley, when Facebook was copied in China by Renren.

Chinese mobile apps are latest than those in the West for content, social and online portal. WeChat creates it simple to shop, pay and connect, and it's more working than Facebook apps. Tencent’s universal super app WeChat has 1 billion users.  WeChat Pay calculates 900 million users, and quick mobile wallet that bypasses banking and credit card fees to reward for items via a mobile app scan.

WeChat min-shops combine content with trade logical with links to sales products that can be gained only within WeChat. This is a China-first construct behave for mobile apps. Within two years of its start, WeChat mini-shops outreached 200 million users. Tesla and Walmart have flowed mini-shops on WeChat.

WeChat doesn’t go the pointer much in the US, scooting an opportunity for Facebook to fill the gap with its own innovations.  WeChat messaging and calls can be used in the US but its premium and shopping functions aren't easily accessible in the US without a China bank register and a registered Chinese account. Only about 2% of US internet users manage WeChat once every few days – although the maturity of my Chinese-American business contacts in the US and in China vouch for its usefulness.

This is not the first time that Facebook has emulate a Chinese process. China’s short video app TikTok from Chinese unicorn Byte Dance adverted Facebook in 2018 to produce its own version, Lasso, that has been described in China as a “100 percent” copy of the Chinese-created app.

WeChat’s online version of Chinese New Year red covering crush with cash for gifts to friends and family also activated Facebook, which tested its own cash gift feature.

Look for more successful business ideas from China to be copied outside China. Its part of the US-China tech race that I've been including for well more than a decade.
